Hj Ahmat Najah Bin Hj Rahmat holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of New Haven (UNH), Connecticut, USA. With over two decades of experience in the logistics industry spanning both air and sea freight, he has served with global airline giants such as MAS, Air France, Lufthansa, Saudi Airlines, Air France and Garuda Indonesia, as well as several prominent logistics firms, before founding Scubatex Resources Sdn Bhd.
He is a Certified Instructor Trainer & Examiner under Scuba Diving International (SDI), the highest-ranking credential within the recreational diving industry worldwide. His specialties include Solo Diving, Underwater Photography, and Videography, and he is also a certified Scuba Diving Equipment Specialist. With more than 5,000 logged dives across local and international waters as 2025, Ahmat Najah has personally trained over 3,000 divers and certified more than 100 instructors since 2006. He is also a Course Director for Commercial Diving.
Among fewer than ten SDI Instructor Trainers in Malaysia and one of only two Malay full Instructor Trainers, he is recognized as a pioneer in the industry. His expertise was spotlighted globally when he became the first Malay speaker to represent Malaysia at the prestigious Diving Equipment & Marketing Association (DEMA) shows in Orlando (2013) and Las Vegas (2014).
He currently overseeing training, safety, and product development strategies, while also contributing as a Technical Advisor at the International Federation of Sports & Aquatic Tourism Industrialist (IFSAT).
